COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) - Almost 25 years after the release of Sony's first gaming console, the company announced they are releasing the Playstation Classic.

The throwback console features 20 classic title, including Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms.

The creators say the mini console is 45% smaller than the original Playstation, but still maintains the same look and feel.

The console will cost $99 and include two wired controllers, an HDMI cable, and a USB cable for power.

Currently, Nintendo has two classic consoles with Nintendo NES Classic Edition and Super NES Classic Edition. Those consoles cost $60 and $80 respectively.

The Playstation Classic will be available December 3 with pre-orders available at select retailers.
